Face- & Neck-Lifting (klassisch) / Deep plane Facelift

Rejuvenation with a Natural Result

Over the years, not only the skin but also the underlying structures such as facial muscles, ligaments, and supportive fat tissue – especially in the midface – begin to sag. This leads to a tired, sunken appearance.

During a face and neck lift, these changes are precisely addressed: the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurosis System) – a fibrous muscular layer – is lifted and tightened through deep sutures. This technique corrects not only the skin but also the musculature underneath. Excess skin is removed gently, and the skin is redraped and closed with tension-free, discreet sutures.

The classic face and neck lift is considered one of the most effective procedures in plastic-aesthetic surgery to significantly reduce the visible signs of facial and neck aging – while preserving your natural facial expression.

Combination with other procedures such as upper/lower eyelid surgery, brow lift, forehead lift, or fat transfer is often recommended and can enhance the result.

Surgical Expertise

The procedure is performed by Dr. Riikka Veltheim ([LINK TO HER CV]), an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in facial surgery.
