Polynukleotide / Crystal Healer PN +

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are one of the regenerative therapies used in modern aesthetic medicine. They are obtained from highly purified DNA and do not primarily increase volume, but rather stimulate skin regeneration. The aim of the treatment is to achieve a lasting improvement in skin quality, elasticity, and hydration, as well as to support cellular repair processes.

Polynucleotides are particularly suitable for photo-damaged or age-weakened skin. Typical indications are fine lines and small wrinkles, loss of elasticity, enlarged pores, hydration imbalances, and dark shadows under the eyes. Polynucleotides can also be used to stabilize the skin barrier and improve skin quality in cases of rosacea.

What is Crystal Healer PN+ made of?

Crystal Healer PN+ is a specially developed product made from ultra-fine, biocompatible polynucleotide fragments that no longer transmit genetic information but have a purely regenerative effect. The starting material is highly purified fish DNA, mainly obtained from salmon or trout. The polynucleotides are mostly derived from fish sperm, as this is particularly rich in DNA. These DNA fragments are processed in a multi-stage pharmaceutical purification and fragmentation process.

They have been specifically designed to stimulate regenerative processes in the skin and have a revitalizing effect on sun-damaged or age-weakened skin. The formulation with 2.5% polynucleotides enables exceptionally effective skin regeneration and leads to a visible improvement in skin structure and quality. Crystal Healer PN+ contains sodium polynucleotide (PN) in a concentration of approximately 2.0%, combined with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) and usually lidocaine for comfortable treatment.

This combination offers a dual effect: the regenerative effects of polynucleotides for skin revitalization and intensive hydration through HA, which also makes the skin appear plumper and fresher.

Treatment information

Treatment information

The treatment involves fine injections into the superficial layers of the skin. It is minimally invasive and generally well tolerated. If necessary, an anesthetic cream can be applied before treatment.

Repetitions

Clinical aesthetic practice recommendations are typically:
A series of about 3-4 sessions at intervals of 3–4 weeks for effective rejuvenation results, followed by maintenance treatments every 6–9 months to maintain the effect.

Treatment duration

approx. 20 minutes

Risks and possible side effects

After polynucleotide treatment, temporary visible swelling may occur. Small bruises or hematomas may appear in some areas. These reactions are usually harmless and subside on their own within a few days.

Costs

The cost of treatment starts at CHF 800 for 2.5 ml. The exact price depends on the treatment area and product quantity.

Ability to work

You will be able to work immediately after the treatment.

Aftercare

Special aftercare is not usually necessary. Cooling may be pleasant if required. Intensive sports, saunas, and exposure to strong heat (sun) should be avoided for 48 hours.
